It’s been a long time since I’ve had a decent dream, I don’t remember them or they are pointless.
I’m going to turn this blog into a tattoo journal as well.
I’ve been having troubles getting clients to tattoo, so I made a craigslist ad.
I got a surprisingly large amount of emails, but no follow through, with one exception.
He was friendly, and fun to work on. Related with him because we knew the same people and did the same line of work ; security.
He wanted a upright horshoe with a clover in it. There is some symbolism, being upright it means letting all the bad luck drain out, or not being able to pool up.
Did a fairly good job on this one, aside from the shading on the horseshoe and a few lines pretty good. I need to work on my grey shading. I think my problem was in my ink caps.
Clay showed me a trick with feathering out my colors by tilting the tattoo machine, I’ll have to experiment with this technique further.
My life aside from that has been going pretty good, I have a sleeve that’s work in progress, the owner of the shop is hooking me up. It’s been a long time since I’ve been really excited about getting a tattoo.
Itchy as hell..
Lastly I’ll be going to a halloween party dressed at elvis, hope I can mac on some girlies.
